You don't really want more than 600 pixels across IMO.

Open the photo in Microshaft Photo Editor/Mangler and re-save it as a JPEG but click on the options button and slide the compression/quality bar down a bit then re-save - you should get it under 100k easy enough.

Cheers,

Phil

For SN pics

600*450 & compression of 4/10 jpeg works well. Leaves pics of ~60k size & displays nicely on the page.

I've tried...taking pix at the BEST Res... 3.2pixel Fine
and in the Kyrocera Sofeware with the Digi camera i reduced the pixels down to 461x346pixels..this then made the image less than 100kb's...Turbo Uploaded it easy.

Doing it like that...do i still keep the pix as good quality as..better than taking the pic at 680x460 pixels?
defeats the object of having a spankin camera if you still can take pix at a low res!

Cool

Phil

Take the pics at mega res (for you) & then re-size them for the hoi-ploy

Mav

Take the pictures in whatever res, then Save As in whatever paint prog you have to .jpg & make the compression 3 or 4. What this does is compress the pic but loses some of the sharpness. However, ample for web pages & should be small enough for Turbo. If not, goto #2 compression/
