using overnet beta. Fairly clunky, but the downloads are worth it.

ZipZap, followed your lead and EMule is excellent. Got a plugin I was looking for, for Photoshop.

Cool

Hanley,

Here's a link to e-Mule's homepage: http://www.emule-project.net

I have used it for ages - it is better than eDonkey and is still in development so is being updated nearly every week

I just switched from eDonkey to Kazaa. Appears to be much more reliable.

another emule user here, never got very far with edonkey, just sat there attempting to connect and failing.

went to emule and instant downloads.

can also use sites like sharereactor which gives edonkey links, they still go straight into emule

I installed eMule after little success with eDonkey, seemed ok, I found some files I was after, started downloading them .... then it all went pear shaped ...

Seems as soon as my IP was listed loads of people started trying to connect, and the result was latency in excess of 1000ms, and 12% packet loss :O

Not sure if this is normal, but needless to say it got binned!
