The similarity to Vice City is unreal. The good thing is, it's real cars driving around a real town. In a computer game type way.

I hoping my copy should turn up this morning, it's released today. IMO this should blow away GTA VC as you have real cars and a real city, 40 square kilometeres of London mapped exactly.

Has anyone managed to get passed the police station level? Been stuck on this part for about a week now. Tried to find a walkthrough for the game but can't find one.

If so, Mind sharing how did you do it?

I've figured out so far that i follow the 1st police officer to the phone room. He then goes away. I make my way up stairs and kill the police officer standing in the fraud office, kill the 2 officers in the briefing room, and kill the other 2 officers at the stairs.

After that, get the gun (but put it away) and follow the DCI down to the Interview room on the ground floor, taking out the officer in the computer room on the way down.

No matter how i try. the DCI just won't be killed.
Whats the best way to do it?

Walkthrough here

I'm debating whether to go for GTA:Vice City or The Getaway. Anyone played both? What would you recommend?

The link didint work for me...

I did that level after quite a few attempts...but I had no real method. I just took my time, found a little corner to rest after each firefight and just went gungho and killed the lot of them. I think I killed the DCI 'cos I was right on top of him, and pistol whipped him...I think I was just about to die though....

Sorry, not much help!

JohnMcC - yeah, you are right about the link. It was working for me as I had it in my cache.

If anyone wants the walkthrough, guess it's off to www.gamefaqs.com, you'll find it there - look under Playstation 2 and then under G in the alphabetical listing.

I just picked up OPM2 with a demo of the Getaway so at least I'll get a chance to play with it a bit to see if it's as good as they say.

It took me a bit longer to get into Getaway than GTA:VC - if fact I bought it at the same time as Tiger Woods and, after an initial go, didnt play The Getaway for a day or two - but I gave it another go and reckon its really good, now Ive got into it.

Dunno Stevep. Since it's done by Sony I don't expect to see it on the Gamecube or X-Box.

I had 15-20 mins of the demo tonight - great fun. I totally screwed up the car chase hitting lampposts, bollards, pedestrians, not to mention loads and loads of other motors. End of mission? You bet.

So....I tried it again. Had my son beside me - he gets the bright idea that if I crash the car I should just hijack another car...what? Yep, works a treat! I think this is one for the stocking...and sod it, I'll go for GTA Vice City too
