Broadband Terminal Services help needed

OK guys, lets run this past you....
Currently I have blueyonder BB, with a D-Link router (4 port), I currently have 3 PC's connected. 1 laptop (xp) 1 desktop (xp) and 1 server (win2k), I can ping each PC on the network but I cannot connect to any share or shared printer, I have the correct permissions, but I'm not getting very far.
Also I need to know how to configure the server/router so I can remotely access it from elsewhere, I presume I need to have port forwarding from the router configured, and help here would be appreciated.
