Anyone know how to get GPRS working

They should be able to send you an SMS with the GPRS settings for you.
Try here [I know you have already]
http://www.orange.co.uk/services/orange_gprs.html
If you have all the settings correctly entered you should see a a grey "triangle" above your signal strength bar.
Orange also have HCSD. Make sure you've got the right tariff.

Ermm...
As Baije says, a GPRS enabled phone will show the extra grey triangle. It is to show that a GPRS SIM is inserted, but that may not be active. Check with Orange that you have the service set up.
They should be able to send an SMS with all the settings but as I found from Voda & O2, make sure that they actually send you the settings for the GPRS service you require (WAP, Internet, VPN etc)
How are you trying to connect? Are you using the 68i to browse the web on the screen or using it as a modem? If you are using it as a modem then you might need additional software (available from Orange) to use when initiating a connection from your Laptop/PDA to the Internet.
Its quite simple but generally not helped by the service providers
