MCSE - is it worth it?
I have read the thread regarding MCSD and wondered what the current thinking is for MSCE for Win2K? I have MSCE NT4 and have done the server component of Win2K. I have also been the sys admin game for about 12 years. Is it worth my while completing MCSE?
I am thinking of 'plying my trade' in OZ in 12-18 mths. Anyone know the relevance of MSCE over there?

I would consider doing dotnet framework now, it's released in Feb/March, but there are training courses available...not sure about books though.
Looks like they have redesigned AD according to the docs I have read, although I don't profess to be an AD guru..
MCSE's are good if you have the technical knowledge with it, but I appreciate the commment's made to me in a previous thread "how do you get the experience in the first place then".
ps Mark - good luck with going to OZ, me & the missus should have done that years ago, we fancied Canada, USA or OZ

no, waste of time. only useful if you have no IT experience and need to get an interview.
any job worth havin does a good tech interview these days - speakin as someone who interviews and has seen the attrocious quality of mcse's, they're only a foot in the door to an interview....
