...how easy is this to do? Bearing in mind I'm a little bit wet behind the ears at some of this stuff.

Thanks Nath

I upgraded to outlook 6. Piece of Pi55. Stick "download Outlook Express 6" into google, and it will probably come up with loads of sites to download from.
Click to download and it will sort itself. Nowt technical to do

Before I do that, will I have to save all my details like received mails and contacts or will it do this for me? Told you I was wet behind the ears

What you need to do is to "export" all your data in OE to .pst files. Then install Outlook & import the .pst & hey!presto! all your old info back in place. Configuration of profiles & dial-up settings much the same.

Your contacts will be saved. I'm 99% sure you don't lose your mail! but don't quote me on this.

Also, don't get confused between Outlook Express & Outlook. OE comes in varieties 5 & 6, whereas Outlook is 98, 2000, 2002. There is no direct "upgrade" path between the two products as they are separate programs, but the data (in .pst) can be used in both.

Its Outlook that I'm looking to get, also is there any links to it about that will make it 100% fool-proof for someone like me :dunce:

Thanks Nath
