Question
Does anyone know of a program that will reduce the bit rate of existing MP3s, preferably in batches?

Secondly, does anyone know of a program that will equalise the volume of a batch of MP3 files?

Any advice appreciated

Not sure about a) but the guy I share an office with at work changed the Db level on a MP3 for me today. I'll ask him tomorrow if it will do a batch.
