OK here's what i'm trying to do.

I've got 2 powerpoint presentations and want to drag and drop slides from one to the other.

However everytime I try to bring up the second presentation it minimised the first. All I want to do is to have 2 powerpoint windows open side by side so I can use both. Grrr

I don't want to tile all the windows. Just have those two open. I used to be able to do it in w2K..

I think I've sorted it now. It seems as though in w2K there was a default option to let you pane two copies of the same program. This option is now switched off in XP

Thumbs up

If if ever want to drag something to a window you can't see, drag the object to the relevent button on the taskbar and wait - don't let go. After a second or so, that window will come to the top, and you can then drag the object to the window you want.

Or, go to slide sorter view, select the whole slide. Copy. Alt-Tab and paste.
