Scheduling Emails
#1
Does anyone know if it is possible to set up an email to someone that gets sent to the recipient on a regular basis? I have to email a reminder to a user every week and I would like to set something up that does it automatically. Don't know if maybe a .bat file or something, if this facility isn’t built in.
We have Outlook XP clients and Outlook 2000 Exchange on our server.
Any ideas?

Assuming you have an SMTP host that's open on your network, go directly to that with a little script that's scheduled to run occasionally.
PERL would be my weapon of choice.

Could you not schedule a task to run (at command - dos batch file) which would contain mapisend, which would send from an outlook/exchange account at the time intervals specified
