OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments - Problem!

I did a Windows update (running 2000 Pro) and now the majority of my e-mails with attachments have the above messgage and I cant access said attachments, I mean they are only photos of my son, which got past the server at work with all of its corporate security/virus features, i'm sure its pretty simple, can anyone help??
If outlook express is not showing the attachment, go to tools > options > security, and untick "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"
And this is a cool piece of software that works with Outlook 2002 and allows you to block or not different types of attachment. Also allows you to minimise to tray icon Outlook, which I find is handy.
