Ok guys - I am looking for some help for my old man ...

He has got a pinnacle dv500plus firewire card linked to a sony digital video camera, and can edit movie with adobe premier etc.... but he has now purchased a dvd burner (phillips one with Sonic My DVD version 3)


and when you try and record movie directly from the camera to the dvd software - it can't find the capture device ....


Anyone got any ideas ??

I wouldn't have thought you really need to burn to a DVD, can't you just make a VCD - it can be played on a DVD player. Try this link for some tutorials and stuff :
