dude,

you werent quick enough to save the day - now it is completely shafted, this is being written on me laptop.

both os's on same drive, no partition.

1. posted the above question on scoobynet.
2. 10 seconds later disconnect from internet.
3. go into explorer(W2K).
4. delete entire W98 folder. (too impatient)
5. still get dual boot and allsorts of strange things occuring in
w2k, no add remove progs, asking for disks as it boots and then
in the browse box it gives me only one drive option and calls
it 1.
6. am currently reinstalling w2k on other machine.

this is your fault!

I installed W2k onto a machine that already had W98, and got the dual boot type thing.

Now i want to get rid of W98, but cannot find any kind of uninstall in either OS.

Any suggestions?

cheers,

mike.
