Question

I am writing a technical document at the mo and it talks about fibre channel HBAs and lots of other things.

My question is, what is the correct UK spelling for adapter, does it have an "o" or an "e" ??

According to my Oxford English Dictionary both are valid.

However, I've always tended to use ER rather than OR.

Cheers
