Laptop screen's gone dull.

Upgraded processor, and screen has certainly lost some brightness.

Tried display properties to no avail. Help I can't see!!!

Model is COMPAQ prosignia.

Its actually a rebadged Armada M700.
Bring it back, I did say the new board hadn't been full unit tested.
I won't be back at work till Monday. I'll put in another system board for you then.

I forgot to say, press the "Fn" and "F10" keys together, and that will bring up the brightness adjustment.
