It's for my g/f. Need static IP so I can VPN from her place.

However, you don't need to have a static IP to VPN from only to (unless your VPN server only accepts authorised IPs to connect).

Puff is right, if you use aggresive mode you can do it from a dynamic address....if you want to VPN in you'll need a static IP.

A lot of people where I work use Zen Internet. I am considering a move to them myself, as my OpenWorld 12 months is nearly up and I have just bought an ADSL router.

Just had Plus.net installed and very happy with them. Can reduce monthly line rental by referring other people to Plus too...
