Right, my corporate network is tied down tighter than a drum.
However, we have several (c.20) remote laptop users that use a 3rd party email service.
Ideal world I would change thier email and have them use the network, however, I cant do this for several reasons.
What I need is a peice of SW that will scan email as they download it into OE via modems, I want the emails scanned before they are loaded into OE....
Any ideas lads?

McAfee VirusScan does that.
Will scan files/folders, downloaded internet files (e.g. ftp, save as, etc.), java applets, e-mail attachments (corporate and OE).
The biggest hassle with remote laptops is keeping the virus signatures/database up-to-date. With the McAfee stuff, you can either download it automatically from their website or just run the latest dat update once-a-week.
