Toolbar problem

For some reason my pc loads up with the toolbar allong the top of the screen. usually it would load allong the bottom and idont know how to correct this any help would be great.

Leave it there on auto hide,i find it much better at the top as all the other stuff is there and you naturally look up there,if you want to move it just keep clicked on the blank section move it to where you want,side, bottom and then unclick.

Other than that, move the mouse over the toolbar next to the start button, press and hold the left mouse button, and drag it to where you want it.

Question

tried to drag it to the bottom but it only goes half way to the bottom. i hope i have it right task bar /tool etc. eg start and everything to the right off.

Don't try to drag the toolbar with the resize handle, just drag it with the pointer.

still no luck . whats the re -size handle as against the pionter ,excuse my ignorance?

Just left click anywhere on the toolbar thats blank, keep mouse button pressed and drag the whole toolbar back to the bottom, dont click on the edge of the toolbar as that will just enlarge it, hence you filled half your screen earlier with it

Make sure the cursor is still the standard white arrow when you click & hold on the toolbar (click on the grey, but not on one of the application "boxes" or the system tray). Then drag the toolbar to the bottom of the screen.

You have the "re-size" handle when the cursor changes to a black double-headed arrow that points up and down.

Does that make any sense at all?
