Question

I've just moved into a student house and require internet connection - missing the uni's stupidly fast connection and so broadband seems to be the only way

Is it possible for 4 of us to share one connection? If so, which company should we go for? (having done a bit of researching NTL and Blueyonder seem to have the best reputation).

We're also looking at getting digital tv, are there any good deals about?

Thanks!

Andy.

Several computers networked together with a hub

Hang an ADSL router of one of the hub's ports and HEY PRESTO - you all share broadband!

if you can get cable modem, then go for it. get a rouer to share your internet or a PC with ICS installed with a hub/switch. bear in mind that the PC will need to be on all the time for sharing.

read previous posting in this forum on broadband/internet sharing as well
