Cool

I no longer need it, as I've just slipped a Toshiba 60Gb drive into my little notebook.

It's a 30Gb 2.5" super-slip (9.5mm) IBM travelstar.

I've had the drive for about 6 months, and Dabs are selling them for about 100 quid, so if anyone wants it for £50, it's yours. I'll even pay for registered post, or if you're in London/Kent/South Scotland we can arrange to meet up and exchange.

Pfff. Bloody Americanisms. It's 'cheque'.

I've packaged up the drive (along with your free CD of MP3s ), and addressed it - it'll go to the PO tomorrow.

World's quickest sale thread, anyone ?
Yeah, but a muppet thread would beat it on the twisties.

Argghgh, can't believe I did that! I work for an American company (you know who) who processes over 75% of the UK's cheques using a solution from or US buddies. Consequently, I have to translate everything from US to English.

I'll see your muppet thread and raise you an i-chat debate

Ta muchly!

In which case I'll match your i-chat debate, and raise you an IWOC ECU reset thread.

I fold

(incidentally, fold your cheques before paying 'em in. The heart of a cheque sorter is an elastic band running at 70 miles an hour*, and those folds can really upset 'em )

Nick
* - same concept as used in a Metro, apparently.

Ahhh - I notice the noticable absence from that list of customers which is also amongst my former employers. I apologise
Had a brush with voucher processing at that employer. Was involved in the network for enabling the central archiving of the voucher images. Then they got taken over and outsourced the whole lot.
