I am running 2000sbs, last week I had a hard drive failure. I added a new hard drive, installed 2000sbs and then installed the backup tape. I have managed to get all the services running but can’t get the exchange mail store stable. When I delete the mail store the service starts until I reboot the server. I can add the mail store (4GB) and it works fine until I restart the server then wont start.

I have added service packs and checked technet but can't find the problem.

any ideas

Cheers

Jeremy

Question

What program did you use to back it up?

Red face

Did you have the exchange agent option?

Oo just noticed v8.5, thought that had backup problems with AD?

Did you get AD up and running after a restore?

Did you back up the system state?
