I'm trying to create frames for my website, the usual thing: Row at top for banner, column at left for index.

I'm having trouble with the banner. It's leaving white borders around the image. If I make the image bigger, the scroll bars appear and the white borders stay. Like this:

Help please!

Lots of things you can use to remove borders.

eg...

<frameset framespacing="0" frameborder="0" cols="100%">

<frame name="mid_high" src="mid_high.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" frameborder="0">
<frame name="centre" src="welcome.html" marginwidth="10" marginheight="10" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0">
<frame name="mid_low" src="mid_low.html" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" frameborder="0">

</frameset>

You need to specify a margin of zero for your pages. The HTML for this is topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" in the body tag:

<body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0">

You should find this makes the image snap to the top and left side of the frame.

If you want search engines to pick up your site, don't make your home page frame based, as it confuses them.

I wouldn't use frames, use ASP include header and navigation bars.
