Has anyone had compatibility issues after upgrading XP Professional with service pack 1?
Just curious, as here, it *may* (still investigating!) have upset Maximazer and printing to headed paper on our HP printers with third party paper trays.
Just curious, as we are slowly upgrading all the users.

My PC was running fine, until I installed SP1
It now takes 50% longer to start up and shut down, might well back out of it if I get no joy with tweaking things tonight.

SP1 has been known to cause problems with some disk drivers - check the eventlog for possible hints at errors. A BIOS update may be needed to fix the problem.

Can't use standby on my laptop any more. PCMCIA network card doesn't always power up. Have to shut down everytime now instead of Standby.
Sometimes network card powers up, then shuts itself down after you log on.
Worked perfectly before SP1.

it's stuffed up the power features on 2 of my pcs - now when u do shutdown it comes up with the screen saying "it is now safe to turn off your pc" instead of just going off, and if you press the power button whilst windows is on, rather than quickly shutting down it now just goes straight off as if the power at the mains was switched...
