More importantly.... how far in is the spiders bit, I'm slightly arachnopobic 
The ones in Code Veronica made me jump.
So far I'm only got to the bit where I've killed the dog to get the key on the coller and swapped that for the real one. And yes I am burning zombies behind me.
Damn it's a good game.

it took me 9 hours 3 minutes and 33 seconds 
not bad for first attempt at playing it.
spiders are quite a way yet they are outside in the 3rd building you visit it takes ages to get to second disc then the second disc is over very soon damn good tho, just started it again

the bit I enjoyed (and I don't like RE games - the conclusion I've come to now) was the shooting the &&&& out of the ravens near the bird cage... most amusing... but then again, I enjoyed shooting the sea gulls in MGS2 as well

I have just done the piano trick and am now needing to swap the plaques over.
I think I will start the game again from the beginning as I didn't bother burning the zombies - bad mistake. as soon as you get the 2nd key they all seem to come back to life and seem really p1ssed off, and run like the clappers.

Can anyone tell me where the Sir Trevor Diary/letters are?
I nearly have all 4 masks for his crypt and in the File menu I'm still missing 1 file from Mansion I (which I believe is the sir trevor diary)

Found it!
It's in the secret room with the statue containing the gold emblem.
Anyone else noticed that when you look at the ingame map all the rooms that have an item you haven't picked up in are highlighted pink as opposed to a 'clear' room that is a grey/blue colour?
Useful for seeing if you've got everything in a room.

I finished Chris's mission on Saturday, saving Rebecca and Jill
Took 12 and a half hours but I did do a hellava lot of backtracking and It's the first time I've played Resident Evil (Although I've played and completed RE2 and Code Veronica on my Dreamcast)
Agreed, the tyrant was easy.
6 magnum bullets in the first confrontation puts it down.
I like the Chimera's, shame there isn't more of them in the game.
