how do I get jpgs from 257k down below 100k
#1
I got some piccys weighing in at around 257k. How can I get them down below 100k so I can upload them using turbo uploader?
Or, is there another host that could cope with the larger files?
They're currenly in Paint Shop Pro 7 format.
Thanks
Nick

Nick,
Do a "Save As..." and select JPG from the list, but before clicking "Save", click Options. From there you can either manually (or using the wizard) increase the compression.
Increasing the compression will cause you to loose detail, but in return will decrease file sizes. Yout'll be suprised how much you can compress and still be able to see everything OK.
Cheers
