Hi folks,
I have the following for sale:
Acer Altos 330 File Server
Intel Pentium II 350Mhz CPU
256MB RAM
Adaptec AIC-7880 50/68PIN SCSI Controller
Intel Pro 100 (82558)10/100 LAN Card
3COM 3C905-TX 10/100 LAN Card
1x 500MB IDE Disk Drive (put in for Smoothwall usage if wanted)
2x IBM 68Pin SCSI 2Gb HD
HP DDS-2 4-8Gb Internal SCSI DAT Backup Drive
12 DDS-2 DAT Tapes(7 of them used once in the wrong drive, therefore unused)
Brand New Plextor 12X SCSI CDROM Drive
Aopen UDMA33 32xCDROM Drive
ATI Rage Pro PCI VGA
Floppy Drive
PS/2 Keyboard
PS/2 Genius Wheelmouse
Belinea 10 40 10 Monitor
D-Link DE-816TP 10Base-T Ethrnet Hub
2xNew 10Metre Cat5 UTP lead
2xNew 5Metre Cat5 UTP lead
2xNew 3Metre Cat5 UTP lead
2xNew 1 Metre CAT5 UTP lead
The server is in excellent working order, fully updated and serviced by me and very stable, as you would want in a server
From the screenshots below, you can see that it runs Windows 2000 Server perfectly well, with all updates on inc SP3.
This is still installed on the machine, pre-AD/domain deployment. It will be down to you to delete the OS
Buy this, then spend £30 or so on a larger 68pin drive or 2 and you have a great little file server/Internet Connection Sharing setup
Here are 2 pics of the kit:
Open to offers, within reason obviously
Cheers,
Nick
Edited to add VGA
Edited to add SCSI Controller and Cables
