Please can someone end my mizzery and tell me how to enable my cookies. I have loaded my web browser gone to tools, internet options, and then tryed looking for an option to let me. I have had this prob before and I know it can be done.

Im running windows 2000 professional and have internet explorer, i think its version 6 but could be 5.5. Ive also tryed online help with microsoft and there help is also no good. I think I need to get to the menu that alows me to move the sliders up or down to alter the level of internet security but I carnt find the sliders!"!! If that makes any sense.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't bother upgrading to IE6, that isn't solving your problem. FFS Si, if you can't add anything useful, maybe don't bother ?

1. In IE5.5, go to Tools | Internet Options.
2. Select the Security tab (you won't have a Privacy tab).
3. Move your slider to where you want it, then click the Custom Level button on the Security tab.
4. A new dialog called Security Settings will appear with a list of items. Part way down is a list of options to do with cookies. Adjust and apply etc.

Cheers

Ian
