Question

Getting closer to the world of Broadband !

Have signed up to Plusnet now, price was very good, can get out of contract in 30 days, and they provide a static IP address (why is this so good by the way ?).

Now need to get all the other gubbings. Thinking of getting the Netgear DG814 router/modem. Anyone have experiences with it ? Is it worth the dosh ?

Cheers
Daz

I've got a Netgear DG814 - simple to setup, had it online in under 5 mins when it arrived.
Simple graphical web interface to control it - maybe doesn't do as much as more expensive routers, but does everything I need.

Recommended.
