Question

I just got my router working (Netgear DG814), It's the wires only self install ADSL with Plusnet and it seems to be 'dropping out' quite regularly, every 20 mins or so.

What I mean by dropping out is that any downloads in IE6 get stuck and don't progress, ftp sessions terminate and MSN Messenger logs me out.

The strange thing is that the router's stats show the WAN link as being up as long as the router has been on (several hours last night).

I borrowed an ADSL modem and didn't experience this. I'll try on my other PC tonight but I thought I'd post in case anyone has any suggestions?

If it was a problem with the splitters / microfilters it wouldn't connect at all, am I right?

Thanks!

Hi AdrianFRST

There are currently several issues with the DG814. Have a look through the adslguide forums www.adslguide.org.uk
