First bet would be the company in questions website. Usually have stuff like annual reports, press releases etc. tucked away in a stuffy corner somewhere
After that, careful use of Google or AllTheWeb should yield you little bits here, little bits there.
Or you could just say here the company name and we will all go looking

How about Companies House? Not free, but you can get a copy of the company accounts for < £5, which is pretty cheap in my book.
