Trouble! NTL

Just got all my cables etc fitted for Broadband NTL. As ever i'm suffering problems with my usb ports. Would i be better off buying myself an ethernet card and connecting up with this, or should i sort my usb woes. What sort of money would an ethernt card set me back?

my gf had that!
i found it was the NTL cd, im resuming you've just got the modem
yesterday i took Pc appart put ethernet in, works a treat mate no problems at all.

Si, you've had a few problems/solutions aired on here before, but perhaps it's time you started a new thread called "My shift and punctuation keys aren't working - can somebody help me fix them?".
