If you have difficulties to access Abit main web site. The followings are other alternative sites.
http://fae.abit.com.tw/eng/index.htm.
This site is also providing comprehensive FAQs.
ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub
ftp://ftp.leo.org/pub/comp/general/devices/abit.
http://ftp.nsysu.edu.tw/hardware/vendor/abit/index-e.htm.
The ftp sites are only allowing certain visitors. Therefore, if you are being asking for the permission, please try later.
For VIA 4in1 drivers, you can try http://www.viahardware.com.tw.
For Highpoint 366/370/372 controllers' driver, you may also try http://www.highpoint-tech.com.
For Siluro display cards, you can also try nVidia Datonator drivers.
Lots of hardware review sites like Tom's hardware site also contains latest BIOSes and drivers.
What a load of ****ing ****e off Abit

For anyone even remotely interested in what the hell this is all about, I wrote an email on Behalf of Simon, helping him to more precisely word what he wanted to ask Abit about his motherboard.....
"Technical Support,
Abit Computers.
Hi there, sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could possibly help me with a couple of queries regarding my Abit board.
I have a TH7II-RAID motherboard, running BIOS revision 7C. This BIOS revision updated the Highpoint BIOS to 2.0.1024 too.
I am just about to stripe 2 identical drives together and install Windows 2000 pro, but I have been warned that I really should have the corresponding driver revision for the Highpoint BIOS. Could you possibly advise me as to which version of the highpoint driver would be best/closest for this board, or possibly point me to where I could download the right drivers please? Highpoint do not mention this BIOS revision at all on there site, so I am unsure.
This leads to my second question:
I intend on dual-booting Win2k and Linux on my machine, but on the Highpoint site they state that at least BIOS revision 2.1 or greater is required. This, as you can see, presents me with a major problem. I require both operating systems as I am doing a computer degree at University which requires in-depth knowledge of both of these operating systems. Do you plan on updating the TH7II series with a newer Highpoint BIOS revision? If not, could please advise me as to why not or if you have any workarounds for this predicament.
Yours Sincerely,
Simon Petty"
So now you know, not like it's interesting........
Cheers,
Nick
