this is urgent, straight or Crossover cable from PC to NTL modem?

Just off to Gf's to sort her PC, shes going USB -> modem at moment putting her my Ethernet card in just ive only straight cabling

Haven't a clue for 100% but if the NTL box is not a hub, then x-over, if it is, straight.

If the modem is a Terajet 210 then its a straight through cable.

But you may have to wait a while before the ethernet enables. I.e switch the modem off. Plug it all in for ethernet, then it will work by tomorrow.
