I have a rather pathetic 10Mb for uploading piccies too, so i constantly have to delete files, which is a pain.
I now want to upload some nurburgring videos i made, but these are 100MB in size!
Does anyone know of a good cheep way of getting myself more webspace to host pictures and videos?

Unlimited Bandwidth/space..
Free domain name too ....
Bear with me and I'll dig out a link that gets it discounted to £1.75 Per month (instead of £3.50 as advertised)

Erm, check the precise definition of the word 'unlimited'. We already did this one before, but if you start posting URLs to videos for all and sundry to look at, and your bandwidth usage hits (say) 10Gb/month, they may well turn around and start billing you....

there is something in the T&C's that says that they would switch it to a high user tarif if it does eat up high bandwidth on my agreement. I'll just have to suck it and see.
not sure how many people would be interested in downloading my vids to be honest.

another quicky question.
I have my name as a domain which was registered by phil dawes, who has disapeared off the face of the planet, so would be looking to move this. How do i practically do this, it seems a pain in the *** to do if the person who registered it isnt around anymore.

My domain was originally registered through Phil 'Scoobynet' Dawes. Speak to Lee Christie at Titanhosts.net - he sorted out moving my registration with no problems.

how eficient are these hostonce people, i registered yesterday afternoon, not had a mail from them yet.
it sounds like transfering my .co.uk will be fairly easy, the .com will be a pain.

They mail you only when the account is setup, i've registered 4 domains with them.
The only advice would be don't register a .co.uk with them. I don't know why but the .co.uk are alot slower than their .com hosted domains. Maybe they're hosting the .co.uk on slower servers in UK and the .com at their USA offices on faster servers.
I know the .com are constantly 3-4x faster.
Apart from that, no real problems.
