Hi peeps,
I'm trying to set up Realplayer so I can listen to streaming audio (the test match, if it ever stops raining). I have downloaded what I believe to the the correct file. rp8_linux_powerpc_cs1.bin
Now what do I do?????? I can't find any documents anywhere to help!
cheers....

Yeah, I've tried running it with ./rp8 etc but I get and executive binary error. I think I need to log on as root to be able to execute the file, which I think is just an installation script.
Steve: are you going to be at Chequers on Sat, I'll be coming along with Jimi and tweenierob, see you there??

What platform are you running Linux on ? As it looks like you have downloaded the LinuxPPC version i.e (Apple Mac platform).
If your running on x86 architecture, and using a distribution that supports RPM's (Redhat, Mandrake etc) go to www.rpmfind.net and do a search for RealPlayer.
Download the RPM file and as root type: rpm -Uvh <filename>
