We bought our server 2 years ago. Its running windows NT4 service pack 4.
Question is do we upgrade to service pack 5 and 6, if so where can i get them?
or do we invest in a new server, if so which one and how much?
We have 16 users on the server at the mo, so it does not have to be too extravagant.

if you are running NT4 server on 2 years old hardware, i think it should be OK. you can up the memory to get better performance.
if the servers are connected to the internet, you can goto www.windowsupdate.com and it will find all the updates your server need. works on desktop as well. current service pack for NT4 is 6.

its not that slow and it is connected to the interenet. Its just we bought some new software about a year ago and we have finally received the training. Or attempted anyway.
It was abborted because lok file errors kept on coming up which they said was down to sP4. However the software was designed to run with sp4 and not sp6 as they are suggesting.
Does it cost for the downloads?
