Free Webpage Creator for Beginners?

Hiya
I've got a geocities site, but I've just aquired Paint Shop Pro (new toy!) and would like to make my own website from scratch.
Some questions:
1) I've never done it before, so is there a free downloadable web publisher/tools/whatever I can get?
2) My ISp is AOL, anyone know of any probs with them? (Apart from the obvious!)
3) How do I go abot getting my own personalised webaddress, and does AOL support these?

you can use microsoft word. just "save as" HTML and you got yourself a webpage! that would be the easiest way to get a webpage up and running.
if you need webspace and a domain name, have a look at hostplus for their packages. for £20/year including all fees and VAT, you can have your own domain name, webspace and even your own emails!
