Red face

afternoon chaps,

got a bit of a problem that I cant work out...

I have a P3 desktop running W98se and a Laptop running XP. They are networked together on a workgroup via a hub. All fine so far.

The Desktop uses a dial up connection to the Internet which I want the Laptop to share. However, for the life of me I cant work out how to do this!!

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

Thanks

Neil

You could use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)
Look at the help on the 98SE box (seem to remember it had a reasonable description of how to).

excellent - cheers Silent Monkey & Suba, will get to work on it later.

Found a fair bit on the MS site regarding ICS/98/XP so should have it up and running in no time

neil, be aware that if you got firewall, it *might* stop ICS working. you will need to configure the firewall to allow the connection.
