My DVD keeps freezing during films, I was told to try reinstalling Windows Media Player (XP) before taking the PC back to the shop.
But where is it to install? Couldn't find it on the genuine XP installation disk I have. And I don't want to uninstall the current one until I know I can reinstall it! Is it compressed or buried somewhere?
Anyone know?
Thanks
BJH

Sorry mate - couldn't find it either.
It's not under the 'Install optional components' option so I guess it must be part of the main system install. I don't have my licence information to hand so couldn't go any further with that one. Have you tried http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=FH;EN-US;wmp?
Cheers
