converting music files
#1
okay no chuckling, not a PC wizz but;
i'm trying to create a nice selection CD for the scoob, copying files from a CD to the hard drive. this bit works fine (they are.cda i think) and the songs play in windows media player. So,.. my question is how do I get these onto a CD???
tried copying them, which apears to work fine, but the CD player won't have any of it - do I need to convert them on the PC BEFORE copying???
oh yeah, and if so, How!?!?! - thanks!

u need to burn the .cda files as an audioCD in a suitable burning app, like nero or Roxio EZCD
If u just want to drag n drop the files onto a CD, like a DataCD copy, then u need to convert the .cda into .wav files first, to enable a normal cd player to read them.
So burn them as an audiocd is the easiest option.
I believe
