Im trying to play a DVD but it says cant play it in file mode! Well what other modes are there as it has bugger all options. Ive used power dvd before but it wont work for some reason.
Its scary movie 2 and it says this disk is copyrighted and then cant be played in file mode. Its genuine thing from asda and im bored and cant watch it! HELP

have you been playing other region DVD on your player? i think after 4 or 5 times playing other region DVD, your drive will lock to one of the region (to prevent your DVD drive to play multi-region DVD). have a look at the properties of your DVD drive.
