Have recently installed Pipex modem and had my line made ADSL capable. Mow I have fast internet connection but very crackly and difficult to hear phone hand set.
I have had the line checked and it is fine.
By elimination I have discovered that it is the installed microfilters as when I remove them the phone line is perfect.
Is this standard with Pipex microfilters or does it sound as though they are faulty (already replaced one).

 

Strange, I had very noisy phone line when I first installed Pipex (no microfilters) but it clered up after about a week. No idea what it was but it hasn't returned.
