Don't know how it plays, but the screens look mighty fine. It supports single player and multiplayer, too.

i downloaded it in sections and ran the merge.bat as per the instructions. when i try and launch the exe file thats been created i get told it is not a valid w32 app. anyone else tried the game yet and how did they go on?

i dual boot w98 and 2kpro, and neither of them will let the exe start.

HELP!!!!!!!

 

there's another file needed thats not shown on the nvidia page, this only applies if you download in sections

Im gonna set my ADSL on the case, cos Im sick of being headshot on CS and told how pants I am (even thought its true)

 

I might give it a bash now that I have a ti4600.. 200 megs - pish I need adsl

 

even with 512 its still not very fast..about 20 - 25 kps where I'd normally get about 50kps. Takes about 40 secs per meg I think..

It depends a lot on the site you are d/l from. And Cable 512 is faster than the one that uses the old phone line like mine does. All down to fibre optics and the speed of light you know.

But it still PEEES on ISDN for downloads. And 56k? HA! NEVER AGAIN!

 

update for ayone who's interested.

dowloaded game in ten section and the merger file no with joy.

found out there is another file required, No11. downloaded this and got the resulting exe to lauch and install.

tried to play the game, had to get directx 8.1.
the game plays but with bizzare graphics.

am now downloading dx compatible drivers for the radeon 8500,

the game looks pretty good, even better it's free.

hang on, my driver download has just finished, back soon.

Massive off topic but a mutual friend fitted a d/pipe to my car which had the PPP on before and I could tell no difference in sounds AT ALL.

Maybe hope for you to get a d/pipe.
