If gonna dual boot 2k / xp

Is there anyway i can install Office xp and use it on both OS's without 2 copies? Same with every app

You should be able to install it into each OS - But specify the same drive/partition and install options. The second install will then overwrite the app files. All config data for each OS should be in the individual OS registrys so should be fine.

I think I had Win98/2K running with Office like this for a while but it was some time ago.

Of course there may be good reasons why an app would install different versions of files depending on OS......

i had a prob with that

did xp /98 then y 2k arrived at last.

Dual booted that and 2k kept installing to D:\ same as 98 still dual booted just i had 30gb wasted partition
