What's wrong?
I was connected on Friday as a self install with kbbroadband and given my user name and password.
I have a D-Link DSL500 Router but no matter what settings I change I always get LCP No response.
This is the Summary for the router:-
IP Address Configuration
IP Address 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
MAC Address ***********
PPPoA Login
Login User Name team@adsl.kbnet.co.uk
Password ******
Authentication chap
PPP Information
IP Address 0.0.0.0
Connection Status LCP No Response
PVC
VPI 0
VCI 35
Connection Type
Connection Type Router with PPPoA
Encapsulation Method LLC
DHCP Configuration
Start IP Address 192.168.0.2
End IP Address 192.168.0.33
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.1
Leased Time 72 hour
Primary DNS 192.168.0.1
Domain Name
State enabled
NAT Configuration
NAT Function enabled
How can I check that everything is OK at the ISP end and this end?

192.168.n.n are not externally routeable addresses ... Looks like it isn't picking up a DCHP address from the authentication (radius) server at your isp.

The 192.168.x.x configuration is correct for your internal network, NAT will deal with the routing of packets as they arrive and leave the router.
As the previous post notes, the router is unable to get an IP Address from the ISP, providing everything is connected correctly at your end give the ISP a ring to ensure that your account has been enabled and that there is no fault at their end.
