Jpeg to bitmat how do I change it????????

Being a complte plonker with computers, I wanna put some pics on a website, how do I change it from Jpeg to Bitmat......help guys please.

You need an image editor such as Paint Shop Pro. Open the BMP and do a Save As and choose JPEG as the file format.

Colin,

if you really want to convert from JPEG to BMP for a web-site, then DON'T!!!!

JPEG will allow MUCH smaller files than BMP, as it is a compressed format. Leave the files as JPEG!

Oops, cheers Boomer. I read it as going from BMP to JPEG.

Yup, stick with JPEG!

the site that I want to put the pics on will only take bitmat, Don't know if you have heard of Friends reunited, it's some old pics a friend of mine sent me and i would love to put them onto the site.

errm load paint and save as bitmap, not that difficult

are you sure that you are not mistaken?

Select your file to upload. We will only accept .jpg or .gif files and please keep the file size to as small as possible (no greater than 150Kb)
Both jpg (the same as jpeg) and gif are compressed formats.
