Question

Hi folks, I am trying to figure out where on earth I can get hold of the above cable, so that I can run a digital pass through from the 3.5mm spdif out on the back of the Audigy into the Digital Coax on the Yamaha amp.

What I am basically after is a 3.5mm mono minijack to Single RCA (phono) connector.

Anyone come across one of these available over here?

I went to try my local AV chain, but they have gone bust

Cheers,

Nick

Cheers mate. I had already tried Maplin's and richer sounds don't do them either.

Thanks,

If your local hi-fi shop has an onsite cable-guy he should be able to make one up.

If you can't find one drop me a line and I'll point you in the direction of a cable-guru (!)

Cheers

Gavin, saw that one, but unfortunatly I need one on a wire, as the PC is in an enclosure and right up against the wall.. There won't be enough room to fit that adapter in. Cheers for the help mate

Steve, I too have a cable guru , unfortunatly, he is on holiday.

Cheers guys,

Nick

Question

Nick,

Can you not use one of these extension leads along with the adapter ?

http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/det...27&modulecode=

TV94C 3.5mm Stereo Ext £3.99 (gold plated)

[EDIT: I just noticed that was a stereo lead - there is a mono splitter which would do the job - RK27E 3.5mm Mono Splitter £1.99]

I hope you get it sorted.

Thanks

Gavin

Cheers, but I don't want to risk it. It needs to be mono really, as the manual says and also to keep me happy.

Nick
