Bypass setup password
#1
morning...just been given 10 compaq deskpro's 2000...they were donated by a company(LARGE) to the place where I work...only problem is that most of them have got a setup password configged on them!!
is there any way around this so that I can get them flattened and re-built?

depends on the deskpro... they may have a cover lock on them... two screws underneath will remove the solenoid..
the hdd's and psu's die in the new evo style deskpro's now
it was the old segate hdd's with the black rubber around them that cause the most probs for us.
as said though there is a jumper on the board... diagram inside...
