Might be easier to get the fcgpga (or whatever it is..) type chip and get a convertor to fit it in your slot1 m/b, these are easier to come by than slot1 chips which seems to become less common after the PII550's came out IIRC

steve, get a "slocket" which will take the newer FC-PGA 370 pin and convert it to slot 1. it's easier to get a FC-PGA 370 pin CPU then a slot 1 CPU.
