Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of an external device case for connecting an IDE Hard drive ( namely my mStation ) to a USB connection for my laptop??

Your best bet is probably having a chat with Procell. They should have the USB kits for mStation 2 and possibly a kit for mStation 1.

Note, the IDE connector on the back of the mStation 1 (dunno about the 2) is different to the IDE connector on more standard things like the ViPower range.

Suba - I'm afraid I couldn't find an external IDE to USB on the IceCube site & they haven't responded to my e-mail.

Lee - it's a mark 2 so looks like my best bet is the USB external hifi docking bay.

I've got an mstation 1, and whilst T a london computer fair came across some external usb - ide boxes.

bought one for £25, popped mstation into it and hey presto
